Data Deletion.

You may ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including your account profile, store configuration, conversation history, customer messages routed through our service, uploaded content, and any associated metadata. Where you have linked HeyJane to a third-party platform such as WhatsApp, this request covers the personal data we hold — it does not cover data held by that platform under its own terms.

Some data may be retained after deletion where we are required or permitted to keep it under applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other record-keeping obligations), or where it is necessary to enforce our rights. Retained data is isolated and used only for those limited purposes.

Email business@heyjane.io from the email address associated with your HeyJane account, with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include:

• your full name and the email on the account;
• the WhatsApp Business phone number or store identifier connected to your workspace, if any;
• a brief statement confirming you are the account holder and want your data deleted.

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request. Once verified, we will delete the data, or remove the means by which it can be associated with you, and confirm completion by email.

We respond to deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot complete the request within 30 days of receiving it, we will inform you in writing of the time by which we will respond.

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion, you will lose access to your account, and we will no longer be able to provide the service to you. If you sign up again later, you will start with a fresh account.
